FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please bring along your valid photo I.D, either a passport or driving lisence.
For final payment, please bring cash on the day of your appointment as I am unable to take card or online payments.
We get very busy in the studio, so unfortunately we don't have space for a friend to sit with you in the tattoo area downstairs. We do have a cosy sofa area upstairs though, great shopping just outside on Oxford Street, great food and tourist attractions nearby.
DRINKS & SNACKS
Your are more than welcome to bring drinks and snacks along to the studio.
I recommend bringing easy snacks and sugary drinks to keep your energy up throughout the day.
We have a water cooler to keep you hydrated throughout the day. Please feel free to bring along a water bottle to re-fill at our water cooler.
COMFORT
Some extra things to consider bringing with you, are the following..
- Hoodie or small light blanket incase you feel cold during the appointment.
- Phone charger and earphones incase you need a little distraction.
- Large shirt or extra clothing incase of tattooing more intimate areas
(please see more details below)
WHAT TO WEAR
COMFORTABLE CLOTHING
It's always best to wear comfortable clothing, so that you can be as relaxed as possible during your appointment. Please keep in mind the location of your tattoo and chose clothing that allows easy access to this area.
ARMS
Depending on the area, a t-shirt, tank top or strappy top will work wonderfully.
If we are going onto the shoulder, please wear a loose or sleeveless top, where we can manipulate the straps if necessary.
LEGS
Depending on the area, baggy trousers or shorts should work perfectly. You are more than welcome to bring shorts along to change into at the studio.
HIP/THIGH
This area is a little more intimate, we will make sure you're feeling as comfortable as possible. Usually loose shorts will work for this area. Depending on the placement, you may need to be in underwear
FEET
Feet are easy to access of course, but leaving with a fresh foot tattoo is a little more difficult. Please wear slides, sandals or loose fitting shoes to wear comfortably after your appointment.
NECK
The neck can be an awkward area to get to, we'll make you as comfortable as possible using cushions and taking small frequent breaks. Simply wear a top with a low cut neckline, where we can access this area easily.
CHEST
This area is a little more intimate, we will make sure you're feeling as comfortable as possible. We have drape sheets and screens in the studio to protect your privacy.
To access this area easily, please wear a low cut or strapless top. Depending on the size and placement, sometimes we may need to use a drape sheet or pasties.
BACK
This area is a little more intimate, we will make sure you're feeling as comfortable as possible. We have drape sheets and screens in the studio to protect your privacy for large scale pieces.
FULL BACK PIECE
When working on a full back piece project, I recommend bringing along a zip-up sweater or over sized button-down shirt. With these items of clothing, we can spin them around to reveal your back whilst still keeping privacy in the front.
STERNUM/RIBS
Depending on the area, an over sized top should work perfectly. We can manipulate the top for easy access to the area and use a drape sheet to cover you comfortably.
These areas can be more intimate, we will use drape sheets and screen covers to protect your privacy. In some cases you may need to use pasties or remove the bra, in this case we will discuss how you will feel most comfortable and create a privacy for you.
If you need to bring clothing along to change into,
that's no problem at all!
We have a large bathroom area where you can change comfortably.
COMFORT
"I strongly believe in providing a positive and safe environment for everyone to be tattooed comfortably and confidently."
YOUR COMFORT IS OUR PRIORITY

We aim to provide the best possible experience, in a safe and positive environment.
TATTOOING INTIMATE AREAS
We are fully committed to providing a safe and professional environment for all of our clients and coworkers.
I understand that being tattooed can mean being vulnerable, which is why your comfort is of upmost importance to me. I will always treat you with respect and dignity, throughout your whole tattoo experience.
When tattooing intimate areas where you may feel more exposed, I will always provide drape sheets, coverings, pasties and privacy screens.
If at any moment you feel uncomfortable, please let me know so that we can make any necessary adjustments.
I am always happy to make any adjustments to make your tattoo experience a positive one!
Please know that you can always come to me in confidence before, during and after a tattoo.
DISABLED ACCESS
The Circle does have multiple staircases, going up into the studio and then down into the tattoo area. Being in central London, the studio unfortunately is quite compact and layered.
As London can be a difficult place to navigate, especially for someone with particular needs, I have another studio that I work from located in Essex.
The Essex Studio, Electric Snake Tattoo, is ground level and located on a quiet high street in Billericay. This location has perks such as..
- Easily accessible by car
- Car parks offering Disabled parking
- All ground level, no steps into the building or tattoo area
- A friend can sit with you during your appointment
- Access to disabled bathroom
If you have any other particular needs, please feel free to contact me in advance so that we can make any necessary arrangements.
INCLUSIVE SAFE SPACE
Our studio prides itself on being an inclusive safe space for all!
We do not discriminate against gender, age, race, sexual orientation or religion. Please know that you are amongst friends and we will always treat you with respect.
If you do feel uncomfortable at any moment, please let me know so that I can fix any issues or behaviour. If you feel that you need more privacy, misgendered or disrespected, you can always talk to me in confidence. Your safety and wellbeing is my priority.
Gender Identity
If you use any particular pronouns, please feel free to let me know in advance. We also have a pronouns section on your paper work, so you can also relay this to us on the day of your appointment.
Our restroom is gender neutral. We also provide sanitary products in our restroom, so that you can easily access anything you need.
